On April 20, 2014, Cliven Bundy, who is at the heart of a large confrontation with the Federal Government over land and property rights and the over-reach of the Federal Government as a result of the Bundy Cattle Ranch, made some very direct comments about race in America. Most of the networks are not playing Cliven Bundy's full comments. I think it important, despite the fact that his words have caused an uproar, to have the full context of what he said.

So, before he talked about seeing black Americans in the project houses in Las Vegas and wondering about their abortion rates and crime rates and comparing that to their earlier history, here is how he prefaced those statements...something you will not hear from the main stream press:

"I was in the WATTS riot, I seen the beginning fire and I seen the last fire. What I seen was civil disturbance. People were not happy, people was thinking they did not have their freedom; that they didnít have these things...and they didnít have them.

Weíve progressed quite a bit from that day until now, and sure donít want to go back; we sure donít want the colored people to go back to that point; we sure donít want the Mexican people to go back to that point; and we can make a difference right now by taking care of some of these bureaucracies, and do it in a peaceful way."
So, Cliven Bundy made it clear that he was not advocating that the clock be turned back. He indicated up front that "We sure don't want to go back."

But then he went on, and got controversial. After talking about seeing black Americans in government subsidized housing in Las Vegas, he said:

"They were basically on government subsidy Ė so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never, they never learned how to pick cotton. And Iíve often wondered were they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things? Or are they better off under government subsidy?"
Well, Cliven, the answer is clear. Slavery was (and is) horrible and intolerable. People were not "better," off as slaves. During slavery in the South, many (but not all) families were broken up and sold off because they were viewed as property. So musing about their family life is not something that can be compared, or should in any way be romanticized.

However, that does not mean that minorities today are in a "good," circumstance either. By any objective measure, the current state of affairs for black Americans, while not comparable with slavery, is, nonetheless, intolerable for almost all of them that are caught up in the social dependancy programs advocated by the liberal progressive politicans of the day, and administered by the Federal government. And there are reasons this is so, and those reasons MUST be explored.

Under liberal, progressive programs, for the which the American people have spent trillions of dollars, the traditional black family (in terms of the demographics and overall percentages) has been destroyed. This is a tragedy. In the vast majority of cases, for those who get caught up in these liberal/progressive welfare programs, there is no father in the home. The government and its "payments," have taken his place. In addition, in most cases, with food, housing, and other subsidies, there is little ongoing income in the home from those who work to earn it. The out of wedlock pregnancy rate and abortion rate amongst young black women is abhoridly high. They are litterally killing off their rising generations before they are ever born. The crime rates and the incarceration rates amongst black youth is extrodinarily high, far above the average.

The rate for women living below the poverty level, particularly black women, is over four times that for women living above it.

So, why are all of these things occurring?

Mr. Bundy's question about the state of affairs for these people today, while inappropriately comparing them to slavery in the south...which is now being used to completely marginalize Bundy by people who, like Harry Reid, have institutionalized criminal behavior and shady an important question. However, the thing that really scares the progressive left, is that this question, if phrased properly, would be compelling. and it would be critical, particularly for black American, to sincerely ask themselves and explore all of the facts associated with it. And the left knows this, and fears it.

Simply stated: Have these government subsidy programs, which have produced these abysmal conditions and demographics, and which have themselves been designed to entrap whole peoples into a dependancy cycle engineered to harvest votse...have they worked? Well...have they? Are the people who are living under such programs and conditions better off under such a system than they would be if they simply engaged in today's traditional American, free enterprise life style?

The answer to that question is obvious and clear. The answer is a resounding NO, they are not!

All one need do is look at those who have forsaken the dependancy cycle and the associated programs and pulled themselves up into main stream America. Then compare their life styles, their families, their crime rates, their income levels to those who do not. There is no comparison...and the liberal, progressive left knows it.

Black and Latino Americans: For God's Sake, Wake up !

These are the conditions that the progressive liberals do not want discussed. They do not want them explored.

Becasue objectively exploring it would quickly become an abject indictment against their policies...and reveal them for what they are. Those policies themselves are extremely bigoted towards anyone who gets caught up in them, particularly Blacks and Latinos. This is so because they pre-suppose that those people require the help of these liberal progressives in order to have any chance of achieving anything in America. It presupposes that without help from them, those people would not be capable of achieving anything. Such a notion itself is bigoted and racist. Those people, who have been created by God, are capable of engagining and making something of themselves, without liberal dependancies.

The basic progressive liberal suppostion behind these programs is a lie. In fact, it is worse than a lie.

These programs entrap people and virtually ensure that they will NEVER make anything better of themselves. They have been engineered to deny those people living under than any normal participation in the American system. That's what they are designed to do, and they are desinged that way so that those people will constantly be dependent on the politicians who promise them all of these subsidies so that they will always vote for them. That is why they refer to them as "their," voting block.

If discussed openly and fairly, it would reveal the dastardly, horrible...and immoral and criminal...behavior of the liberal progressives who establish such programs, and the race hustlers (like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson) who support them and have gotten rich off of making a career of promoting them and attacking anyone who dares oppose them.

That's the simple, direct truth.

These programs are holding people down, and are set up to keep it that way. The reason is as old as this earth. It is about power. Those politicans want to always count on their "voting block," and thus perpetuate their power.

While it is certainly not a physical slavery, it is insidious just the same. The fact is, you can tell by the actions of the politicans who support these programs, by their shrill opposition to any scrutiny of these things, and by their determination to squash and destroy anyone who attempts to expose this sad state of affairs, that the people promoting these programs certainly consider the blacks and the hispanics, and anyone else who fall into their clutches, to be their electoral "property." And they are as committed to retaining that "ownership," and that "property," as strongly and with as much force and compulsion as any southern plantation owner ever was.

In that sense, Cliven Bundy's question, even if using the wrong comparison, about the state of minorities who are caught up in this cycle of dependancy, hits the mark. The progressive liberal politicans and hustlers will not...indeed, in their mind they cannot...tolerate it.

Former supporters of Bundy in his fight against the Federal government will now be labeled as racists themselves if they continue to support anything assoiciated with Bundy. That's why many of those supporters are now shrinking away from him under that threat of a racist label.

Instead, they should recognize the true issues at stake here and continue the fight against an all intrusive federal government. A government where particular agencies daily commit wanton over-reach. They should also raise the topic of the tradtional American way of life, and its focus on fundamental moral values and everyone being created equal, with equal opportunity. They should strive to inform and raise up all those caught up in this awful, paralyzing, dependancy cycle. A cycle which has been created by those liberal progressives and officials who themselves have stated that their goal is to fundamentally change the American system. It is clear that they continue to do all in the power to accomplish that goal.

We must continue to stand up and defeat them.

Bundy's Black Militia Body Guard would take a bullet for him

The man in the above YouTube video is named Jason Bullock. He is a is a six-year Army veteran who is out in Nevada and has volunteered to serve as one of Cliven Bundy's bodyguards.

As you can see, Jason Bullock is also a black American.

That's what he had to say about Cliven Bundy, early this week, after Bundy's remarks were widly reported, and when CNN interviewed Bullock and asked him if Cliven Bundy's remarks had offended him.

"No, not at all. Mr. Bundy is not a racist.

"Ever since I've been here, he's treated me with nothing but hospitality. He's pretty much treating me just like his own family.

"I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather. I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy, I have a really good feeling about him and I'm a pretty good judge of character."

A black, veteran Marine, writes his testimonial about Cliven Bundy
The media distorts information to the point of social division. Above is a photo of myself and the resilient, often charismatic, and maybe not so tactful Cliven Bundy. Heís a cowboy and a helluva family man, not an orator.

One thing he definitely isnít Ė a racist. I found his comments to not only be NOT racist, but his own view of his experiences. Who the heck are we to determine another manís perspective on the world around him?! Just because Picassoís view of the world was abstract, does it negate the fact that his art was genuine?

Furthermore, if you take the time to do your own research, youíll find that his statements about some black Americans actually hold weight. He posed a hypothetical question. He said, ďI wonder IFĒ Ö Hell, Iím black and I often wonder about the same about the decline of the black family.

Bottom line is that we are all slaves in this waning republic, no matter our skin color. Mr. Bundy could have used any racial demographic as an example: Native Americans on reservations, whites in trailer parks, etc. He noticed the crippling effects of receiving government ďassistanceĒ and the long term result of accepting handouts.

Itís not progress at all. I challenge Sean Hannity, Rand Paul, and others to read my comment and reconsider their position in this matter. Individual liberties are at stake here, yours and mine. THAT is the issue.

Donít let the liberal media and ignoramuses like Glenn Beck and that weasel Harry Reid make you lose sight of the real issue here: The federal government is a burgeoning behemoth and a bully on a once constitutional playground.I sincerely hope you real patriots out there who can see through the smoke.

Semper Fidelis

These testimonials, from black Americans who know Cliven Bundy personally, and who have been to his home, speak for themselves. All the rush to judgement about this man, is just that. He asked a legitimate question about the impact of the social welfare/subsidy programs on American citizens...and it is an important question. He did not phrase it well...and the comparison to slavery in the south does not hold. So, what? So he is not an orator. So his speech is not eloquent.

Perhaps Cliven Bundy has what some may call a big wart on him. Again, so what? We all do.

That does not make him a racist, or a bigot in the least, despite what Bill OReilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and others may think or say. Those people have raitings and a lot of money riding on how they respond and what people think about their words...Cliven Bundy spoke best he could, and his underlying point is completely valid. And those two black veterans who know him, agree and stand by him. And one of those men feels so strongly about it, that he, a black US Army veteran, would take a bullet for the man. That carries a WHOLE lot more weight with me.
